Why is Grove moving Beyond Plastic?

The plastic crisis is real, and we can't recycle our way out of it. 

• 76 million pounds of plastic packaging are created by U.S. companies every single day
• Only 9% of plastic gets recycled, no matter how much you put in your recycling bin
• 24 billion pounds of plastic enter the oceans every year, killing over 1 million marine animals

The answer? We need to move Beyond Plastic together, removing plastic from packaging, products, and our homes.

What does Beyond PlasticTM mean?

Today, every Grove order is 100% plastic neutral. That means that if you receive any plastic in your order, we remove the exact same amount of plastic pollution from nature. Grove customers have removed over 13 million pounds of plastic from nature, just by shopping with us.

We're also working hard to remove plastic from the products we make and sell. So far, Grove customers have avoided 8.7 million pounds of plastic by choosing plastic-reducing products.
